Spread some icing on the back of each Kit Kat section and begin placing them around the cake vertically and right next to each other. Ice top of the first layer with a portion of the butter frosting. If you really want to impress someone for their birthday make this cake with their favorite colors.
Place in the freezer for 10 minutes.
2 Line two 8-by-12 inch 305 cm pans. Level second cake and place on top. Trim sticks to match height of frosted cake. You will use between 10 and 12 4 packs of Kit Kats depending on the size of your cake.
