In large bowl beat softened butter and cream cheese with electric mixer on medium speed 2 to 3 minutes scraping bowl occasionally until smooth and creamy. The longer you whip this frosting the lighter and fluffier it will become. Beat together the cream cheese and butter until evenly combined.
In a large bowl beat cream cheese butter vanilla and if desired salt until fluffy.
